- maja blanca with nata de coco and ka-ong
- maja with peanut and corn kernel
♥ these are some of the variations of maja blanca i made. recently, i made it with the traditional recipe topped with chopped peanuts. i made that for some very special reasons and ALHAMDOLILLAH it was a hit should i say
.
that “very special reasons” are concealed to everybody and maybe because of that and i made it heartily as well, the tastes was appreciated, lol. one thing is for sure though, it was made for “kanduli” purposes. don’t ask what is that for because i won’t tell you, hehehe! ALHAMDOLILLAH…
i was really flattered getting some comments about it and even if the arab friends of my friend really did like it. and they even asked for some more and my friends asked me to teach them
.
nshaALLAH, we will be having more.
here’s the recipe:
ingredients:
coconut milk, canned
evaporated milk
sugar
corn flour
corn kernel
vanilla
procedure:
1. mix the ingredients except corn kernel and cook over a medium flame. make sure that there are no flour clumbs in the mixture.
2. stir the mixture constantly until thick.
3. when thick enough that it sticks at the back of the spoon, pour in the corn kernel.
4. stir constantly and pour into molds.
5. let it cool at room temperature before putting it in the fridge.
6. enjoy and serve.
